ROSATO DECO 2021

Region: Marche, Italy

Grape: Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Syrah Passerina and Pecorino skins

Category:Rose

A rosé with a deep red color like almost red wine!
It's as juicy as freshly squeezed blood oranges.
Fermenting with white grape skins creates a complexity, with a red aroma and body, and a white mouthfeel with a pleasant acidity.

Saignée method. When brewing each variety, the skins of the white grapes Passerina and Pecorino are added and fermented. Montepulciano is fermented in used barriques, and the remaining varieties in small open stainless steel tanks. After fermentation is complete, each variety is transferred to used barriques and aged for 16 months.

[Producer information]

The Marche region, blessed with the blessings of the sea and mountains, is Italy's number one in organic farming and cultivation of local grapes. The splendor of the Marche region's nature and climate can be seen in the fact that natural wine producers are emerging one after another.
The fields of Clara Marcelli are located in the southernmost part of the Marche region, in the village of Castrano in the Ascoli Piceno department.
A very beautiful small artistic town with medieval architecture and remnants of the times.
Their vineyard is located 14 km from the sea, 15 km from the Apennines, and at an altitude of 250 to 280 meters, with long sunshine hours and a large temperature difference during the day, making it the perfect conditions for grapes.

The farm, which has continued for generations, is now taken over by the genius brothers Emanuele and Daniele.
Apart from their work on the farm, the two work as architects to promote rural living, protect the environment, and revitalize the region.
They has converted an old farmhouse in the Marche region into an agriturismo and is designing the interiors of stores and restaurants.

They are pursuing "real wine and deliciousness" that will not change over time.
"Have  own style and create something of value"
This is something that architects and winemakers have in common, and is the dream of  these genius brothers!
