① Château Pieds-sur-Don / Pour du Blé White (Lightly Sparkling White)
Region: Languedoc, France
Grape Variety: Viognier

This Southern French Pét-Nat is full of ripe pear and apple fruit, yet has a crisp, dry taste.
The gentle effervescence and slightly bitter aftertaste are also a nice accent.

② Ilia Otero Maiso / A Seara Castas Blancas (White)
Region: Galicia, Spain
Grape Varieties: Treixadura, Godello, Albariño, etc.

Characteristic of coastal Galicia, its vibrant, mineral-rich umami is superb!
Completely additive-free until bottling, this white wine will delight both connoisseurs and beginners alike.

■ Weingut Bergkloster / Cuvée Weiß (Orange)
Region: Rheinhessen, Germany
Grape Varieties: Bacchus, Huxelrebe, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, etc.

Apricot and kumquat fruit with a bitter orange peel note.
A light-medium, classic orange wine that's refreshing to drink even in the hot summer.

■ Mariabortolotti / Darduraina (Rosé)
Region: Emilia-Romagna, Italy
Grape Variety: Barbera

This producer has been a long-time favorite, and I've come full circle and fallen deeply in love with this rosé again...
Originally made as a lightly sparkling wine, perhaps because of the active yeast, some bottles are slightly fizzy while others have no bubbles at all, leading to significant bottle variation (lol). You never know until you open it, but that's part of its charm!

■ La Ferme du Cadre / Prume (Red)
Region: Languedoc, France
Grape Varieties: Clairette, Cinsault

A limited item making its way to Japan for the first time in four years. Only just under 200 bottles imported to Japan...
Though a Southern French wine, it has a pale color due to the blend of white and red grapes.
A soft mouthfeel and a lingering, Dashi-like aftertaste. Delicious even slightly chilled◎
