PIMPRENELLE 2021
Region: France Languedoc
Grape: Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsault
Category: Rose
I took a sip and ordered it immediately <br>My husband and I look forward to tasting new producers every time. I've tried a lot of rosés from southern France, but this is an excellent rosé that makes me smile. It's not flashy by any means, but it's a deliciousness that gradually sinks in. Full of ripe cherry fruit flavor. Recommended for both natural lovers and orthodox types.
[Producer information]
Languedoc region, top ``cru''
A superb wine produced from Fougeres.
Chloe and Frederic originally worked at a company.
Two people who like to eat
At some point, I started going on trips to enjoy gourmet food to various places, including France.
They became fascinated by the "amazing charm woven together by food and land (terroir)."
Under such circumstances, it was only natural that I decided that I wanted to make wine.
Thus, in 2016, ``Domaine Les Serals'' was born .
Chloe and Frédéric's "love for grapes and wine" is expressed through the wines they make .
Their fields are spread over beautiful hillsides and two cool valleys, sheltered to the north by holm oak trees.
They currently own a 2.5-hectare field of 100-year-old Carignan trees in addition to their own field of Fougeres.
A field of grass and flowers giving off the scent of a vineyard, and adjacent to them various types of trees.
They do their best to sustain life in the soil and promote biodiversity .
It is in this biodiversity that Chloe and Frédéric seek harmony.
Adopts organic cultivation and biodynamic cultivation. Most work is done by hand. The fields are left with natural grass, with minimal treatment.
At the winery, we do not interfere as much as possible in order to express the terroir as much as possible .
Hand harvesting, gravity harvesting, limited grape transport,
We respect the grapes by bottling the wine using the force of gravity.
Every effort is made to express the local terroir.
