PRIME 2025
Region: France, Languedoc
Grape: Clairette, Cinsault
Color: Red
The wine we've been longing for is finally back, exclusively in Japan, after a four-year wait!
It's been a full four years since the 2021 vintage. Just when we thought this wine might never be available again, it's been released. Only 20 cases are coming to Japan, so we were only able to secure a small amount ourselves.
Its osmotic pressure is zero-resistance, incredibly smooth and penetrating on the palate. The juicy freshness of red berries is enchanting.
Grapes from David's vineyard,
vinified with his good friends, the Soulie brothers (wine producers in Southern France),this is a collaborative wine! It's a "primeur" wine, released around October locally.
Clairette (60%) is direct-pressed. Cinsault undergoes 7 days of maceration. After blending, it's aged in stainless steel tanks for 3 weeks to 1 month.
*Limit one bottle per customer for this wine.

[Producer Information]
David owns about 15ha of vineyards inherited from his grandfather.
He also tended to about 10ha of vineyards at Gressac, the winery where he used to work.
He used to sell his harvested grapes to a cooperative "until they reached a quality he was satisfied with," and now they've finally reached that quality. He also took over some of Gressac's vineyards, and has now gone independent as "La Ferme du Card."
Aiming to be like his great mentor,
Eric from L'Anglore...
David met Eric from L'Anglore through Valentin Valles, and was deeply impressed by his passion and skill in winemaking, openly declaring, "Eric is a great mentor!"
He has extensive experience in natural viticulture and an exceptional ability to adapt, no matter how wild the weather gets!
He made the now legendary "Chaos" from the difficult 2014 Gressac vintage, which was on the verge of being knocked out by heavy rain, by carefully selecting each grape.
Its astonishing concentration of flavor and drinkability impressed even natural wine professionals!
With his experience and knowledge, he overcomes challenges each year and continues to grow.
His talent is well-known among other producers.
David maintains close contact with other brilliant producers in the same area, such as Valentin Valles and Sébastien Chatillon of Ad Vinum.
They also hold him in high regard for his winemaking and grape cultivation skills.
Valentin said,
"David has incredible talent if he breaks free from Gressac's shell..."
Sébastien also said, with excitement during his visit to Japan in 2019,
"His vineyards are the best!
The grapes I buy from David are incredibly consistent, so I can buy them with confidence.
And have you tried his wines since he went independent? They're seriously good!"
The winemaking technique he cultivated at Gressac, which allows him to produce natural wines to the owner's preference, and
the path of "Vin Naturel" he passionately pursues...
Not many producers possess this sense of balance.
We can't take our eyes off David Teyssier from now on!
