The first release of the Güppe brothers, Petillant Natural, is full of juicy, ripe red apple, passion fruit and grapefruit.

[Producer information]

Having overcome their grief, these young twin brothers make their grand debut in the natural wine world with the backing of a master!

Their enthusiasm struck a chord with Christian Binnell...
They receive top-notch support from Christian, who discovered the Güpp brothers.
Christian Binner is organising various events to liven up the Alsace wine scene.
With the rise of a new generation over the past few years, we have been keenly aware of the growing trend towards natural wines.

Rather than the "mass production" that our parents did,
There is an increase in young people who respect nature and are trying to make wine in a different style to that of their parents' generation.
However, switching to organic farming is difficult, and young producers are in a state of conflict.
Christians impart their wisdom and experience to them,
Furthermore, we are providing support in areas such as sales so that everyone can concentrate on working in the fields.

The Güpp brothers are also facing the same problem. Christian was inspired by the Güpp brothers' ideas, their challenging system, their approach to natural wine, and above all, their potential, and was inspired to reach out to them!

With their potential and Christian's tremendous support, we will be keeping a close eye on their wines, which are sure to grow even more.

The company was founded in 1960 by the grandfather and brother of the current owners, twins Clément and Sylvain.
The father of the twin brothers who took over from him suddenly passed away in 2019.
We can't just keep feeling sad...! So in 2019, two young people born in 1996 took over the domaine. At the time, Clément was a gardener and Sylvain was working at another domaine in Alsace.

Before they took over, the field was not organically farmed, and it was a strange looking field with no weeding... However, the two realized the importance of biodiversity and working in harmony with nature, so they made the big change to organic farming.

The 11ha 40 plots of land are like jewels...

Heiligenstein, where the Domaine is located, is also known as the Piedmont of Alsace, and has a semi-continental climate with harsh winters and very hot summers. The Vosges Mountains act as a barrier, protecting the area from bad weather and rain. (In fact, it is said that hail damage is extremely rare compared to other wine-producing areas.)

The vineyards, which cover 11 hectares, are mainly on calcareous soils, with 4 hectares in the village of Bernardswiller.
3 hectares in the village of Heiligenstein and 4 hectares in the village of Barr. If you divide it into plots, it amounts to a whopping 40 plots!

There are also Grand Crus, such as the Kirchberg de Bar vineyard in the village of Barr, where the vines are 40 years old.
Although the vineyard is located at a maximum altitude of 500m and covers an area of just 0.77 hectares, it produces excellent wines.
