RENCONTRE 2020

Region: France Sud Ouest

Grape: Brocol, Duras, Syrah

Category:Red

《Evolution of the original unique brewery》
I've been drinking wine from this producer for a long time, but I can't hide my surprise at the recent flavors. In the past, the taste was all about wines that people either liked or disliked (lol) They still don't use sulfites, but even those with a bit of individuality should try this wonderful product.
It's a red wine, but it tastes a little chilled.

Concentrated fruitiness of cassis and raspberry,
The complex flavors of mushrooms and spices are also strong. Does this have Syrah in it? A gentle touch that goes smoothly down your throat, making you doubt it.

[Producer information]

A family-run brewery opened by Philip's great-grandfather at the end of the 19th century. In 1999, he began making his own wine using bio-cultivation methods. In 2007, we started biodynamic.

Since 2020, he has been making wine with his son Hippolyte. Hippolyte has good judgment and is more precise and careful when it comes to brewing.
In addition, the vineyard, which has the same cultivation area of 15 hectares as in Philip's time, is now taken care of by four people, so the quality of both grape cultivation and winemaking has significantly improved compared to when it was done by just one person. Ta.
Around the vineyard, cattle are grazed and crops are grown, and in the future, the idea is to surround the vineyard with a forest to create an integrated environment.

The name of the brewery comes from the words ``bois'' (forest) and ``moise'' (moist), which means the area is close to a river and has plenty of water.
