At the time, I was (and still am) addicted to Jura wine, and drank only Savagnin. Its refined taste and minerality set it apart from other varieties.
Marechal's Savagnin contains no sulfites, but has an elegant, transparent, pure fruit feel and soft, rounded acidity. I have always trusted it even before I started drinking it.
It's delicious to drink now, but I'd like to let it sit for 5 to 10 years...

40 years old. Marl soil of the Jurassic/Early Rias.
Aged in 1/3 batches for 24 months in 600L wooden barrels, amphora, and egg-shaped tanks.
No SO2 added.

Head of the family Julien Marechal

Since his father originally grew grains and vegetables, he developed an interest in growing crops that are rooted in the soil, especially grape cultivation and winemaking. He attended a wine school in Dijon to learn winemaking.
One day, I was looking for fields in Arbois in the Jura while commuting...
Near Bornal, I came across a patch of amazing energy that took my breath away.

Started making wine in 2004 at the age of 23.
At first, I had a lot of trouble understanding the characteristics of the soil and varieties.
After receiving the valuable teachings of Pierre Overnois, he succeeded in making Saints-Four wine for the first time in Pour Sars in 2005.

The cave is a 3-minute walk from the grand palace Overnois.
The wisdom of giants such as Stephane Tissot, who popularized Jura wine throughout the world, poured into Julien like a tidal wave.
The wine he produces is always drunk by Pierre Overnoy, whom he considers his mentor.
He is truly a man with immense power and is the leader of the 3rd generation of Jura.
